Wireless LAN Design

We have completed our fifth hospital wireless site survey and WLAN design.
Primary design goals were excellent connectivity everywhere, and good redundancy, which we achieved. The hospitals were as large as 600,000 square feet and 590 beds.

We also completed site surveys and designs for warehouses with U.S. Govt. wireless security standards.

Knowledgeable network design is necessary for a wireless LAN to work well in your building - from 3 to 100 access points.

Whether you're planning for standard access points from Cisco™, Proxim™ or other vendors, or the newer "thin" access points such as those from Motorola™ or Cisco™, the unbreakable rule of physics is "no signal - no service"

The foundation of any useful wireless network is good coverage and the right network traffic capacity. Even the best network management by your network experts cannot compensate for poor connectivity at the radio layer.
